Police prosecutor Sergeant Donna Sperling confirmed that the brief had been disclosed but needed to be re-disclosed due to the technical issue.
"They had access to it, but the server malfunctioned, so they had to start over. It's a complex process," Sergeant Sperling added.
Mr. Maloy emphasized the magnitude of the evidence, stating that they had not had the chance to thoroughly review it due to the server issue.
Magistrate Cameron McKenzie granted the adjournment, understanding the gravity of the situation. Tanika Bromley, 33, faces similar charges, including murder and weapons charges unrelated to the case.
